Chrysanthemums
The Chrysanthemums was borderline for me. I liked the story for how realistic it was compared to some of the other stories we have read, it also is very descriptive compared to the last story we read. I can tell where we are from the start in this story without having to gather the information from bits and pieces here and there. What I didn’t like about the story however was the double meanings, it seemed to me half of the time something that was being said also meant something else kind of like a second story behind the first. If you are like me you are a BLACK and WHITE kinda guy where if it doesn’t mean one thing it means the other, there is no well it means all four of these ideas.
