I typically do not read poetry at all …. what so ever …. never … silzch ….. With poetry there is always a hidden meaning behind the words and for a math and numbers guy like myself i can not stand this. I prefer to be told what is happening straight up, not have to dig my way through each line 3 or four times to find out the guy was hungry that morning. My favorite poet …. yeah we are just going to go with a strong Cat in the Hat on this one. The only technique that i can uses for reading poetry is being diligent with it and read each line over, and over, and over again until something starts to click.
